why "Blue Otter"?

it started with a honeymoon on the Monterey Peninsula and an instant love for California sea otters. those scrappy, joyful little creatures who float around looking like they don't have a care in the world. that trip inspired the name of our home, Blue Otter View, and it only felt right that our bakery carried the name too.

the recipes are just as personal. our signature cookies come straight from Mom's handwritten recipe box, and the acronym — BOB — is a nod to Dad. this bakery is a family scrapbook you can eat.

What started as treats for friends and neighbors has grown into something bigger: a bakery built on homemade comfort, the finest ingredients, and a little bit of whimsy in every bite.
